We often see fashion blunders on TV. We may even hear ourselves giving opinions about them. But do you actually realize that blunders can even happen right in your front yard? Whether you think that your garden looks good or not, it really doesn't matter. If everything doesn't work, your whole garden will not work. We enumerate top gardening blunders and the ways to fix them:

1.    Grass is not greener.

This ranks number 1. Why? Most gardens have lawn, but one may be slightly greener than the other. If your lawn looks more than the soil underneath, it is time to reassess your watering, fertilizing and mowing schedule. Think where you have gone wrong and make the necessary adjustments on the areas mentioned. If nothing happens, replacing your entire lawn is a better alternative. Consider other ground covers such as periwinkle and thyme. Ask your local nursery for a possible option.

2.    Tools and clutter are everywhere.

They may be useful objects, but if they are stacked in your garage because you think they are not worth the storage, they don't just look like junk, they are junk. Go over them one by one and determine whether you want to keep them or not. Your criteria when deciding if they deserve the trip to dump or not is simple: Ask yourself, do you specific plans for them?

Are you thinking of converting your fresh water aquarium to a saltwater kind? There are many aquarists that have done this, but they were unsure at first as to how much components and equipment can be used for the transformation. With some exceptions, most of your equipment can be used for this reason. That being discussed, you can do the conversion by tackling each piece of equipment.

The Aquarium

Most aquariums are not specially customized for freshwater or saltwater. The material used such as glass can be used for both type of aquarium, but they have their own advantages and disadvantages. As far as the size of the tank, saltwater aquarium has the tendency to be quite bigger, though the reef aquariums are very popular nowadays. A freshwater aquarium even as small as 10 gallons can be transformed into a saltwater aquarium, but you should take note that smaller aquariums are rather sensitive and intolerant to work with, and most of aqua culturists prefer the 55 gallon aquarium.

Filters and Filtration Systems

The filtration system in a saltwater aquarium is quite more elaborate than in the freshwater. Because water filtration is the spine of a saltwater system, the filter choice is unquestionably the most essential part of the saltwater set up process. In all possibility, the filter system you are currently using will need to be replaced. The little grasp-on-tank biological cycle and box, or in-tank corner kind filters usually used in freshwater aquariums are normally not great in saltwater aquariums.

The conventional pebble set-ups, though still employed by most saltwater aqua culturists, adds to unnecessary nitrate problems as the aquarium grows, and they have lost their availability as more high-tech filtration systems such as the wet-dry trickle and flask kind filters with biological channel chambers have been introduced.

Disadvantages Of Traditional Backpacking

Less freedom. It isn't easy to take a side trip up that hill, just to see what's there. Do it without your pack, and you have to go back the same way to get your pack.

More tiring. It's clearly more tiring with a heavy pack, and you probably won't enjoy yourself as much when you are tired.

More Injuries. Blistered feet, sprained ankles, sore muscles, and back and knee problems are just some of the common consequences of too much weight on your back.

More hassle. Removing and putting on a heavy pack quickly becomes a chore. Some backpackers start to leave it on during rest stops, just so they don't have to deal with it.
